Among the free-WordPress themes, Schema Lite has been in the news for a while. A lot of WordPress users, Designers, Bloggers, and even business are checking out the this one for their business. What we are going to do is to test the Theme and its features briefly.
*1 – Speed & Performance
Each year, Google is becoming difficult to understand, and Google algorithms are improving every minute. Search engine optimization has become a major factor in rankings, and it does not matter if you are paying for a Theme or downloading it for free-of-cost because On-page SEO has become a significant role in rankings.
In this case, we are going to use the Google provided tool for the Digital Marketing experts.
1: Go to the Insight Developers from here.
2: Type in the URL of the Website or WordPress Blog and hit “Analyse.”
3: The results were a little surprising.
On a smartphone, the speed is 71/1000, which is a decent number.
On a computer, the speed is 86/100, which is a perfect figure for a Website or a Blog for rankings.
Honestly, even we weren’t expecting the theme to score 86/100. To many bloggers, this number equivalent to “Ranking Made Easy.“
*2 User Interface
Schema Lite is not a Magazine theme, but it’s ideal for blogger, who writes because of Passion and Traffic. Unlike other themes, this one is incredibly simple to use, and it does not require for a reader to have little knowledge on how to use it.
- You get the Primary header.
- You get the Main header.
- A straight forward content in the middle (Thumbnail + Title + 50 words Description).
- A Right-side Bar Widget, which helps you organize important things to the right-side bar.
- A footer that explains your brand in few words, Recent posts, and your brand Social networking links.
- At the bottom, you have disclaimers option.
Incredibly simple and straightforward theme that does not come with any controversial features.

Among several free-themes, Author tab has always been underrated and it is also an important factor for many Authors, who want to be recognized in the industry. You can also add a link, Picture, and info in the Author box as well. However, Social Media feature is missing in the Author box.

There are tons of Plugins and Options on WP store, which you can try for free-of-cost. If you use your head wisely, you can implement several interesting things to the theme. For example, you can Social media sharing plugin to it. WordPress is known for Efficiency and Customizations.
