Method One:-

All you need to follow my lead.

Step 1: The first step is to find the Software or App, which you want to customize it.

Step 2: Now navigate to the file location in the Windows Start Menu.

Step 4: You have to highlight the app which you want to create a shortcut key and then Right Click & Select Open File Destination.

Step 7: This is what it looks like when the Properties page pop-ups and as you can see that we have highlighted. You have to edit the highlighted tab.

There is no secret recipe, but I will show you one more method which you can use to add shortcuts. There isn’t much difference in these two approaches, but it will help the users, who don’t have much experience in using the Win10 based PC.

Method Two

Like I have mentioned that there isn’t much difference between these two approaches, but it depends on the approach and also which one you can find easy to remember. SO let’s begin with the second method that can help you take things to another level.

Step 1: Open the Cortana and search for “CMD.”

Step 2: Highlight the “CMD” app and Right Click the mouse and then click on “Open File Destination.”

Step 3: Type “Explorer Shell: AppsFolder” and press the Enter key.

Step 4: A new window will pop-up on your screen and I have selected “Google Chrome” then highlight the app. Right-click the mouse and select “Open File Destination.

Step 5: A new file explorer will pop-up with the App Icon highlighting on it.

Step 6: Right click on the “Google Chrome” & select Properties.

Step 8: The Windows enables you the option to edit the empty box with your set of “Key,” now you can create your Shortcut Key.
